LOOKING FOR MICROBLADING IN Longwood ?Microblading is an artistic form of semi-permanent make-up that allows for each hair stroke to be individually placed in the skin to form the brow. This is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigment into the epidermis. We customize your brows to be the perfect shape, color, and fullness for your face shape. It is perfect for those who want to fully reconstruct, define, cover gaps or define the shape of their natural brow. The result? Gorgeous, natural looking eyebrows. Microblading treatments are perfect for the following: Hair loss and lack of definition, Thin brows caused by years of over-tweezing, Chemotherapy or Alopecia, Scars, Lengthening short existing brows, Thickening thin brows, Correcting asymmetry, Active lifestyles, Trouble applying conventional makeup.
WHAT IS THE MICROBLADING PROCESS?Microblading is done in two appointments, on the first appointment, you will have a consultation to create a customize eyebrow shape best suited for your face. After the desired shape is created, an application of anesthetic cream is applied to numb the brow area. Then you lie back and the technician gets to work, by implementing your custom blend of pigment over the skin. The procedure typically takes around two hours to complete. When finished, your brows will look slightly darker at first, but the color will fade. According to your skin, you may be sensitive for a little while after having the procedure. You’ll also want to make sure you don’t scratch or pick at your skin while you’re healing from microblading as this will interfere with the final look. (Aftercare ointments are provided during your first appointment.) After your first session of microblading, you will need to come back for your final session to achieve the look most desired. It’s important we wait between4 and 6 weeks to give your skin time to heal. The final session will be to perfect the shape and definition of your brow. The lasting results vary greatly from person to person. However, we recommend a touch up annually to retain the shape and color of the pigment. There is no other downside to having this done. *Pigments used are 100% Vegan & cruelty-free. These pigments have never been tested on animals and do not contain animal by-products
How long will your Longwood Microblading last?Over time the color and definition of the strokes will fade. We recommended a color boost session every 6 months to keep your brows looking their best What is the difference between microblading and standard body tattooing? Similar to tattooing, microblading does not use a tattoo gun. Traditional body tattooing use electric tools and ink while microblading procedures involves pigments and a manual hand tool. The specialized tool allows individual strokes to be drawn one stoke at a time. Creating a natural-looking enhancement to your brows.
Can you guarantee what my brows will look like and how long it will last? Results will verify depending on your skin type, ethnicity, health, skin integrity, sun exposure and resistance to pigment. As well as following proper aftercare.
Can you correct problems with previous work done elsewhere?Microblading is best for clients without previous tattoo work. We would need for you to come in for the consultation to exam your brows before being able to confirm it can or cannot be done.
How should I prepare for my appointment? In the week before your appointment is it highly recommend that you avoid blood thinners, aspirin, alcohol or using retinol creams.
